Project Manager

At Software Mansion, Project Manager is responsible for the following areas:

• project facilitation – you will be primarily responsible for essential tasks: ensuring the right meetings are scheduled, sharing necessary information, ensuring everyone has proper accesses, and so on.
• development processes – not only will you ensure that proper development processes are followed, but you will also identify process issues and propose implement changes.
• client relationships – you will be the primary contact person to manage the relationship with our clients on a daily basis, especially when it comes to business decisions.
• budgets – you will be planning, reporting, and verifying projects' budgets.
• productivity management – your role will involve monitoring team performance and project goal achievement, as well as managing any potential issues.
• team wellbeing – you will take care of team members well-being and ensure a comfortable work environment. Our aim is to make their work experience not just satisfactory, but also enjoyable.

Our main requirements for this role are:

• native-level command of Polish, as this is the language we use internally;
• a strong proficiency in English (C1 or higher) is necessary since most of our clients are based in the United States;
• readiness to learn but also adjust to our fast paced environment free from rigid processes.

Also, we emphasize the importance of cultural fit – we're seeking individuals who align with our team's personality, rather than just possessing a specific set of hard skills.

For junior position, you need to:

• have great communication skills;
• demonstrate strong organizational skills and proactivity;
• be able to multitask;
• have an interest in the industry and matters related to IT.

For regular level, we expect you to:

• have at least 2 years of experience in project management,
• have experience working with teams;
• ability to multitask and work under pressure;
• be familiar with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

To be a Senior Project Manager, you additionally need to:

• have at least 5 years of experience working as a project manager, mostly in IT sector;
• have solid knowledge and understanding of project management (e.g. team building, risk management, work planning);
• have experience working with teams (preferably dev teams) and more than one project at the time;
• understand and be able to see and adjust different methodologies to projects (Scrum, Kanban, Agile);
• have experience working with clients (especially with foreign clients);
• be self-reliant and proactive, capable of identifying issues and proposing solutions;
• have experience working with budgets.

Here's a preview of the terms of collaboration:

• we offer contract of employment, B2B contract, contract of mandate – whatever suits you best;
• this is a full-time job. Generally, we work flexible hours, but you would have to adjust your schedule for some meetings;
• you will be able to work remotely from time to time, but in this position, it is important to work mainly from our office at Zabłocie 43B in Cracow;
• 26 days of vacation leave (for employees on all types of contracts).
